Rev. Melvin Lewis Sanchez was born and raised in Hartford, CT. He gave his life to Christ and was called to preach the Gospel as a young teenager. He immediately answered the call of God and began to preach everywhere – in his high school, college, his neighborhood, in local parks and to his family and friends. The burden to see souls saved was so strong in his life that a great number of teenagers from his school gave their lives to Christ. From there he grew quickly in his home church, was established in various outreaches and God began to promote him and elevate his ministry.

Rev. Sanchez went on his first mission trip to Liberia, Africa when we was 19 years old. There he was used mightily by God through teaching in various churches, being the guest speaker at the University of Liberia, and preaching Christ to the Armed Forces of Liberia. This would only be the beginning as in the years to come he would set foot in many nations impacting countless churches, ministries and thousands of people through the power of God and his anointed ministry. He was honored and made bishop in Lusaka, Zambia and a made Pastor over the nation of D.R. Congo. As a director of World-Wide Lighthouse Missions Inc. (WWLM), he has helped to plant churches, facilitate feeding programs and build schools for poor and orphaned children. He has also taught in the prisons and preached in various pastors and leadership conferences.

Rev. Sanchez is the recipient of various honors from Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy as well as other prestigious awards form Senator Richard Blumenthal and Senator Chris Murphy for his missionary and evangelistic work. In New Haven, Connecticut, a day has been named in his honor for being an ‘unsung hero’ that continues to positively impact humanity with the compassion of Jesus Christ. In 2019,  Rev. Sanchez received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity, and in 2020 he received an honorary Doctorate of Theology, representing over 35 years of evangelistic and humanitarian work as well as domestic and foreign mission endeavors.

Rev. Sanchez is President of Voice of Triumph Ministries in East Hartford Ct. He is Vice President of World Wide Lighthouse Missions Inc. and one of the assistant pastors at the Full Gospel Interdenominational Church both located in Manchester CT.

Rev. Sanchez is a devoted family man. He has a beautiful wife, Minister Abigail Sanchez, and also three wonderful sons, Melvin Jr., Isaiah and Joshua.

Rev. Sanchez continues to be a highly sought after preacher for leadership conferences, youth revivals and tent meetings globally. Each meeting is always accompanied by the presence of God that breaks yokes, shifts atmospheres, alters destinies and transforms lives forever.

Rev. Sanchez has conversed with African kings, presidents and various government officials. He has also been and continues to be a prominent leader in teaching, training and mentoring pastors, leaders and ministers throughout the US and in various countries around the world. In addition, his powerful messages have been broadcasted over several radio stations, national Christian television networks and countless viral media outlets.
